Catherine Qian – Senior Project Manager
Catherine is a Senior Project Manager with an extensive background in Human Resources. Her focus is on helping factory managers use their HR system as a strategic tool to develop their business. Her specialties include:
- Factory assessments with a focus on management systems
- Human Resources consultancy
- Project management
- Training programme development and delivery
Catherine has 14 years of HR experience at such companies as BP, ELF (chemical group) and LG. She has experienced particular success in improving people-employer relationships, formulating people development plans and structuring rewards and benefits systems. At BP, she implemented a joint locally-based CSR programme for road safety and community-building, improving employee satisfaction and company-local relations. In addition to working as a senior manager in HR, Catherine drew on her Korean-Chinese minority background to teach Chinese as a Second Language to co-workers while at LG. Catherine holds a MBA from Sun Yat-sen University and a BA in Chinese from Northeastern Normal University. She came to Impactt in mid 2008.
