Eileen Wang – Worker Interviewer
Eileen Wang is one of the China Office’s worker interviewers.
She interviews workers for all types of factory assessments and handles interview follow-up. Eileen also performs training sessions in legal issues and worker-management communication.Eileen’s specialties include:
- Worker interviews
- Training workers and supervisors
- Insight into basic workshop management and planning
Eileen spent 3 years in a Nike footwear factory, where she worked on the production line and in the Quality Control department, and advanced to team leader. By age 21, Eileen was managing a team of 70 sewing machine workers. While in the factory, Eileen was active on a team that organized volunteer, social and educational events for workers. Eileen came to Impactt in late 2007.

Because I was a factory worker myself, I understand workers’ ideas and motivations.
