Selene is a Project Manager. She joined the team in April 2009.

Prior to this she was a Research & Communications Officer for the MFA Forum at Accountability giving her experience of a multi-stakeholder organisation in the ethical trade sector.  Selene also gained CSR and Community Development experience with TATA through a research placement with TATA Chemicals’ community development arm in India.  She has also tried her hand at social enterprise as a manager of a charity shop and founding an ethical-goods student-shop at university.  She holds a bachelors degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge.

Why I joined Impactt

Through opportunities to work, study and travel internationally I have become increasingly interested by the importance of both grassroots development from the ‘inside’ and the international links that affect this development from the ‘outside’.  This has led to an interest in the potential of international trade to effect positive change both ‘at home’ and further afield.  Impactt is an exciting place to work where its services address ethical issues on both the production and consumption sides of trade.
