Impactt develops and supports the on-going management of ethical trading programmes. This can include:

  • Communicating a company’s ethical requirements to suppliers and managing queries in relation to the programme.
  • Management of auditing programmes.
  • Managing both inputs and outputs of ethical information systems, including Sedex.
  • Liaising with suppliers to get progress reports on their actions against issues raised during assessments.
  • Supporting suppliers in the verification of these issues.
  • Organising factory assessments and answering supplier queries in relation to them.
  • Liaising with buyers and communicating supplier ethical performance to internal teams.
  • Developing appropriate responses to press, campaigner and customer queries about ethical activities.
