Ethical trading can throw up difficult situations that need sensitive and realistic solutions.
Each workplace is unique, as are its problems. Impactt works with purchasing companies, production teams and appropriate local partner organisations on the ground to put together practical programmes to resolve sensitive labour issues without compromising commercial objectives. Some projects we have worked on to resolve these issues have included:

- Facilitating worker representation on Health and Safety (H&S) committees
- Improving working conditions in home-working units
- Reducing overtime and increasing workers’ wages without challenging the overall profitability of the business.
